One of the Best Island of the World – Where Nature Rules

In November 2007 one of the biggest travel magazine of the world “The National Geographic Traveler” published a rating. 522 travel experts asked which islands 111 island communities is the world are the best. The island they chose as no 1 were “The FAROE ISLANDS” maybe the most curious place left on the earth where Nature Rules.

The Faroe Islands or Faeroe Islands (meaning “Sheep Islands”) are a group of islands in Northern Europe, between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, about halfway from Iceland to Norway. They have been an autonomous region of the Kingdom of Denmark since 1948.
